Mountain Biking At Coed Llandegla

I’m Last Saturday I went for a day out with Mark Jeffcote to go Mountain Biking at the Outdoors Centre in Llandegla Forest, Wales. Leaving Leicestershire just after 7:30, we arrived at about 10. Costing £4.50 to park the car for the day, we then parked up and headed out on the Trails, riding the Red Route first. This is route is just over 10 miles long, with some beautiful scenery over looking the mountains along the way. Also some great downhill sections with some switchbacks and jumps. Taking it steady, we finished in around an hour and a half.

After this I then hit the Blue Run which is just over 7 miles long. This took just over half an hour to complete and once finished we then headed into the café to get some lunch before heading home in the afternoon.
It was a great day out and one I would definitely be doing again. There are also various walking routes around the park, and Downhill Routes to take on for different things to do.
