Whilst up north with Kathryn’s family I traveled over to Skelmersdale to race in the St. Helens CRC Pimbo Road Races. It was a National B standard race and 55 miles long. As last time when I raced there I expected it to be another fast race with constant attacks and it proved to be right with an average speed of 28 mph.
After a lot of fun and getting a bit wet, I was able to finish safely in the bunch. It was once again a great race.
