Mallory Park Hilly Crit

On Thursday night a traveled over to Mallory Park again to ride in the 2/3/4 category race being held on the circuit. The night was to hold a Hilly Crit, which possibly one of the leagues hardest circuits. Starting off at 7, the race was 30 laps which was about 1 hour and 20 minutes long. Within a a few laps of stating a break was able to establish, with 5 riders up the road. Holding a short lead they were held at around 20 seconds for most of the race however during the later stages they were able to extend there lead further. Staying in the bunch I held off attacking until the race was in the last few laps, making a bridge over to several other riders I made it over however the move was bought back only to go again straight after which I subsequently missed. I tried to get over again however I unfortunately had used my energy and was unable to make it over.

Finishing a very hard night I came over the line in 19th place.
