CC Hackney Series: A Tough Day

Travelling down to Lee Valley it was the third round of the CC Hackney Series. On arriving at the start I new the race would be won and lost in a break and on starting I made every effort to keep as far up as possible to see how the race was going and what was going on the front.

All moves I made however where marked out and counter moves were made after which they stayed away.

At the end of the race there were three groups of three riders, one group of which clipped away on the last lap, a move which I gambled on not staying away but did. This meant the bunch sprint was for 10th. I took 4th in the sprint taking 13th overall in what was a tough day.
