Yesterday I went over to Darley Moor to ride in the John Hinksman Memorial which has traditionally been the last race held on the circuit for the season!
Going from the gun a break of four went straight away which included Ollie Bates and Jordan Peackock. They quickly got a large gap and it then became a race between ourselves due to a virtually unbridgeable gap.
With a few attacks put in towards the finish, Rob Orr and Elliot Harrison managed to escape as a two, and another rider soon followed making the bunch sprint for 8th place! I took 12th overall on the line getting into the points making for a good result!
James Rix took the win.
